Join a multidisciplinary defense technology team developing reliable drone payloads, ruggedized electronic enclosures, ground control stations, and robotic systems. Own mechanical design from CAD and prototyping through manufacturing and NPI handover.
Responsabilidades
- Own the mechanical lifecycle of payloads, mechanisms, wiring, and enclosures from CAD modeling and prototyping through manufacturing and NPI handover.
- Balance size, weight, cost, manufacturing complexity, thermal management, vibration isolation, and environmental sealing requirements.
- Perform thermal and structural analysis and develop internal simulation workflows.
- Build rapid proof-of-concept prototypes and transition designs into robust, scalable production products.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, NPI, and robotics teams on system integration and manufacturability.
Requisitos
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of mechanical design experience in aerospace, defense, drones, robotics, or another multidisciplinary high-reliability field.
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, additive manufacturing, and design for manufacturability.
- Hands-on experience with FEA and thermal analysis tools, including independently establishing analysis workflows.
- Experience solving thermal dissipation, vibration, and environmental sealing challenges for electronics, including IP ratings or military standards.

- Experience with composite materials, including carbon fiber design and manufacturing.
- Experience integrating drone payloads, robotics, or complex moving mechanisms.
- Familiarity with defense and military environmental testing standards such as MIL-STD-810.
