An engineering organization is seeking a junior FPGA Engineer to develop, verify, and debug FPGA-based solutions for advanced digital systems. The role involves collaboration with hardware, ASIC/SoC, firmware, software, and verification teams from concept through deployment.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement FPGA logic using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Develop and maintain FPGA subsystems, IP blocks, and reference designs.
- Participate in FPGA architecture discussions and design reviews.
- Perform RTL simulation, debugging, and functional verification.
- Support synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and implementation activities.
- Develop and execute FPGA validation and bring-up test plans.
- Debug hardware and system-level issues in laboratory environments.
- Integrate interfaces including JTAG, AHB, and DDR.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and verification teams.
- Document designs, verification results, and development procedures.
- Support prototype development and system integration.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is also accepted.
- Up to 3 years of experience in FPGA or digital design development.
- Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Solid understanding of digital logic design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AMD/Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and ModelSim/Questa.
- Understanding of RTL simulation, debugging, synchronous design, timing analysis, and FPGA implementation flows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Se valora
- Experience with FPGA prototyping or board bring-up.
- Familiarity with Python, Tcl, or Bash scripting.
- Understanding of FPGA verification methodologies.
- Exposure to embedded systems and processor-based FPGA platforms.
- Experience with ClearCase or Git.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered in place of the stated experience requirement.
