Develop and improve debugging tools for specialized hardware in a lab environment. The role involves real-time hardware control, board-controller software support, and collaboration with hardware and firmware engineers. Full-time position in Tel Aviv.
Responsabilidades
- Maintain and enhance internal debugging tools.
- Develop debugging tools to meet project requirements.
- Support and continuously improve BMC and board-controller software.
- Control hardware in real time through interfaces such as serial communication and JTAG, and interact with remote machines.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers, incorporating feedback to improve tool functionality and performance.
Requisitos
- 3–5 years of experience developing scripts and automation tools using Python, Java, C, or C++.
- Experience building tools or software in a semiconductor environment.
- Strong experience with serial communication, subprocess management, JSON, and test automation.
- Familiarity with hardware/software interfaces, including registers, JTAG, and low-level communication.
- Experience with microcontroller debuggers.
- Experience optimizing code and tuning performance.
- Experience developing CLI, GUI, or web user interfaces.
- Ability to turn detailed technical specifications into clean, maintainable code.
