Responsabilidades
- Own infrastructure products or subsystems across design, implementation, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Define project objectives, success criteria, technical priorities, and risk mitigation plans.
- Translate product requirements into pragmatic, resilient designs.
- Build and maintain secure, high-performing, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
- Develop software and developer tooling that improves engineering productivity and reduces operational toil.
- Manage infrastructure through Terraform and configuration code.
- Partner with product engineering teams on scalable service design and ambiguous technical requirements.
- Participate in incident response and diagnose issues across interconnected services.
- Improve monitoring and observability using operational data to increase stability, performance, and reliability.
- Apply security-first practices during development and peer reviews.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, pairing, and design discussions.
- Coordinate technical architecture and infrastructure priorities across engineering and stakeholder teams.
Requisitos
- 6–10 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering in primarily cloud-based environments.
- Experience owning a significant product, platform component, or subsystem from design through production operation and ongoing evolution.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or an equivalent infrastructure-as-code solution.
- Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing, containerization, Kubernetes or EKS, and distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or a comparable language.
- Production experience operating Redis or ElastiCache, including clustering, sharding, failover, memory eviction, and scaling.
- Experience with observability, performance tuning, and incident management.
- Strong software engineering practices, including source control, code review, testing, edge-case handling, and safe deployments.
- Ability to work autonomously with incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
- Strong written and spoken English, including technical documentation, pull-request reviews, and operational communication.

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability platforms.
- Experience working across diverse infrastructure domains in a T-shaped technical capacity.
