Plan, implement, and own core backend features for an audience intelligence platform, including audience targeting, keyword search, and API development. Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor developers.
Responsabilidades
- Plan, implement, and take ownership of core backend features across Discovery’s services, including audience targeting, keyword-association search, and core management API.
- Collaborate with Product, TSE, and DevOps on design and architecture decisions.
- Work on audience-activation layer bridging audience data to downstream targeting systems.
- Participate in refactoring system components and modernizing the stack for performance and stability.
- Lead and mentor other developers on complex cross-service projects.
Requisitos
- 10+ years of experience in developing complex enterprise web applications and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of Java programming (Spring Boot/Spring).
- Experience designing and implementing web system architectures.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Vertica).
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
Se valora
- Ruby expertise (Sinatra/Rails-style frameworks, ActiveRecord).
- Experience with GraphQL API design.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks (Angular, Vue, React).
