A drone delivery company is seeking a senior hands-on engineer to shape the architecture and implementation of its ground control systems as operations scale.
Responsabilidades
- Own the architecture of a distributed, safety-critical, real-time system and prepare it for substantially increased flight volume
- Lead complex technical projects from initial requirements through design, cross-team alignment, and production
- Write and review complex production code
- Set engineering standards, testing strategy, and design and code review practices
- Investigate difficult production issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution
- Partner with product, operations, hardware, and regulatory teams on engineering decisions
Requisitos
- At least 8 years building backend or distributed systems
- Several years leading complex projects with significant production impact
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to simplify complex problems
- Collaborative leadership through technical influence and example
- Clear communication and willingness to give and receive feedback
