Senior Software Engineer, Shared Platform Services

Senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, integrating, and operating shared, multi-tenant backend services used across a global enterprise. The role covers APIs, identity and access, storage, event streaming, infrastructure, self-service tooling, and production reliability.
Responsabilidades
- Design and build shared platform services used across the enterprise
- Own services end to end, from stakeholder requirements and architecture through production operation
- Design scalable APIs with strong correctness, latency, and backward-compatibility guarantees
- Develop solutions for multi-cloud storage, change-data capture, and large-scale bulk operations
- Partner with consuming teams from initial integration through production launch
- Design provisioning models covering service accounts, storage, permissions, roles, and directory groups
- Maintain reliable documentation and operational runbooks, including secret and certificate rotation
- Build self-service tools and automate recurring manual work
- Own service availability, performance, security, and production operations
- Investigate incidents to root cause and implement preventative fixes
- Improve observability, alerting, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance readiness
Requisitos
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating production backend services
- Deep expertise in at least one modern backend language and ecosystem
- Hands-on experience running and debugging production workloads on a major public cloud
- Production experience with relational and non-relational databases under high traffic
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Experience with on-call operations, incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Comfort working independently in a distributed team with limited timezone overlap
- Commitment to high test coverage and direct ownership
