Develop Linux kernel networking software and switch SDK components for data center switching products. Lead chip bring-up, debug hardware-software issues, and optimize packet-processing performance in a hybrid Israel-based role.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement Linux kernel networking drivers, subsystems, and switch SDK tools
- Develop Linux networking features for data center switches
- Lead chip bring-up and debugging across hardware, firmware, and software teams
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions for high-speed networking
- Analyze packet-processing paths and optimize latency, throughput, and CPU utilization
- Collaborate with software, hardware, system validation, and VLSI teams
- Debug complex hardware-software integration issues
- Investigate and resolve customer and field issues
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- At least 6 years of networking and embedded software development experience
- Strong Linux kernel development and open-source software expertise
- Deep understanding of kernel networking data paths, driver development, and debugging
- Strong Linux systems knowledge, including performance analysis and networking
- Knowledge of kernel architecture, modules, interrupt handling, RCU, locking, and PCIe
- Strong C programming skills and working knowledge of Python
- Experience with kernel debugging, crash analysis, memory management, concurrency, and synchronization
- Familiarity with Ethernet, IPv4/IPv6, and TCP/UDP
- Experience with modern AI development methodologies and tools

- Experience with SONiC or OpenWrt
- Knowledge of modern build systems
- Experience with PTP/1588 or SyncE
- Open-source feature review or upstreaming experience
- Familiarity with Buildroot or Yocto
- Experience with NAPI, TC, Switchdev, or Netdev
- Experience with ARM64 and embedded Linux
- Knowledge of L2 switching, L3 routing, QoS, and VLANs
- Knowledge of DPDK, AF_XDP, Netfilter, or userspace packet processing
