Join an enterprise storage software team developing high-performance, multithreaded, clustered server-side systems. The role focuses on Java backend engineering, reliability, performance, and maintainable production software.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement Java backend components from product requirements.
- Develop features and improve existing code through maintenance, bug fixing, refactoring, and performance enhancements.
- Write unit tests and perform integration testing.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, reliability, and engineering practice.
- Participate in an Agile development process.
- Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and teammate mentoring and support.
Requisitos
- At least 7 years of Java development experience.
- BSc in Computer Science.
- Strong backend development fundamentals, including multithreading, performance analysis, and memory analysis.
- Understanding of client/server concepts and web technologies including HTTP, REST, and JSON.
- High level of English.
- Strong problem-solving, independent-working, self-learning, communication, and collaboration skills.
Se valora
- Passion for infrastructure and production-oriented engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat architecture.
- Experience with distributed or clustered systems and clustered databases such as Elasticsearch.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of storage systems.
