Join a hospitality technology company’s Platform team and build a scalable, high-throughput Node.js SaaS platform used by hotels, vacation rentals, and their guests.
Responsabilidades
- Design and build scalable microservices and infrastructure.
- Develop integrations with third-party providers and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineers from external companies on API integrations.
- Mentor developers through code reviews.
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions.
- Optimize MongoDB queries, indexes, and schemas.
- Use Redis for caching and performance-critical workflows.
- Troubleshoot bugs and refactor code for scalability.
- Improve system responsiveness through performance tuning.
Requisitos
- At least 6.5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong professional experience with Node.js backend development.
- At least 2 years of production experience with MongoDB and Redis.
- Deep knowledge of high-scale, high-throughput distributed system design.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, SOLID principles, clean code, and refactoring.
- Hands-on experience with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, equivalent education, or military experience in a technological unit.
- Fluent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with third-party partners.
