A transportation technology company is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its hybrid Tel Aviv R&D team. The role focuses on designing, building, scaling, and maintaining backend systems that support transportation operations worldwide.
Responsabilidades
- Architect, build, deploy, and scale backend microservices
- Own features throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Define service boundaries and contribute to scalable system architecture
- Write efficient, reliable, maintainable production code
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams
- Evaluate and adopt relevant technologies and development practices
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Requisitos
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least 6 years of backend development experience, including production systems at scale
- Experience with one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, data structures, multithreading, and design patterns
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a fast-moving environment
