Lead and mentor a team of backend developers while developing and scaling cloud services for connected HVAC systems. The role combines hands-on Node.js development with technical leadership and architectural work.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and mentor 2–4 backend developers; report to the VP of R&D.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Node.js backend services.
- Contribute to backend architecture, technical standards, and engineering practices.
- Design efficient data flows and models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Scale services on AWS, including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and SQS/SNS.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams on APIs and microservices.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and improve monitoring, logging, reliability, and performance using Elastic Stack and CloudWatch.
Requisitos
- At least 3 years of experience leading a backend development team, alongside strong hands-on development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and REST API design.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB and familiarity with Redis caching.
- Understanding of cloud architecture and scalable service design.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and balance technical leadership with hands-on development and mentoring.
Se valora
- Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases.
- Familiarity with IoT, device telemetry, or message queues such as SQS/SNS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
