Lead and develop a backend engineering team, owning the design, delivery, and operation of reliable, scalable systems and research platforms.
Responsabilidades
- Lead, mentor, and support engineers’ professional development
- Shape technical processes across teams and departments
- Own backend systems throughout design, deployment, and production maintenance
- Design and oversee highly available, resilient backend services
- Set and uphold standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and lead post-mortem discussions
- Encourage adoption of modern technologies and engineering practices
Requisitos
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience in a backend-focused environment
- At least 5 years of backend development experience
- Strong system design and microservices expertise, including distributed systems and scalability
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs or gRPC and asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment
