Lead a backend team building scalable SaaS platform services and AI infrastructure. Guide roadmap delivery, architecture, developer experience, and team growth while spending about half your time coding.
Responsabilidades
- Lead a backend engineering team through product roadmap execution and program delivery
- Build developer experiences that accelerate product adoption and satisfaction
- Conduct architecture, design, and hands-on code reviews
- Design and build agentic infrastructure, including throttling, guardrails, model routing, RAG pipelines, tool calling, and context augmentation
- Operate high-scale, mission-critical platform services
- Coach, mentor, and manage team performance
- Remain hands-on in active development for approximately 50% of the role
Requisitos
- At least 3 years of people management experience
- 5+ years designing and building REST APIs
- Hands-on Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot; Python or Go experience is also relevant
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of web application frameworks and cloud services such as AWS or GCP
- Strong coding skills and complex engineering problem-solving ability
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
