A web creation and business platform is hiring a Backend Engineering Team Lead in Tel Aviv, Israel. You will lead engineers responsible for core editor infrastructure, scalable APIs, schemas, document site models, and editor loading flows.
Responsabilidades
- Lead a team of backend engineers owning core editor infrastructure services.
- Build and maintain scalable backend APIs for site-model changes at massive scale.
- Design and generate schemas for next-generation editors.
- Own the editor loading flow and ensure fast, reliable initialization.
- Lead the design and ownership of a unified document site model.
- Provide technical leadership through mentorship, guidance, and hands-on engineering.
- Architect and maintain highly performant, scalable systems.
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and code quality expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, test, and deliver features.
- Drive complex technical initiatives from concept through production.
Requisitos
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience with a strong backend or full-stack background.
- 2–3 years of experience as a team lead.
- Experience leading large, complex projects from conception through production.
- Deep understanding of large-scale web applications and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive approach and curiosity about understanding complex systems deeply.
