Senior Computer Vision Engineer – Optical Navigation
Develop and validate computer vision and multi-sensor optical navigation algorithms for real-time localization and navigation in defense systems.
Responsabilidades
- Develop image-processing and computer-vision algorithms for electro-optical sensors.
- Design and optimize AI-based feature matching and classical computer-vision methods.
- Train vision models and develop 3D scene understanding using deep learning, SLAM, and structure-from-motion.
- Develop image-based navigation algorithms for radar and electro-optical sensors.
- Implement sensor-fusion algorithms involving IMU and GPS/GNSS data, calibration, bias estimation, and noise modeling.
- Build validation scenarios, simulation environments, testing databases, and proof-of-concept experiments.
- Implement algorithms in MATLAB, C++, and Python using PyTorch, TensorRT, and OpenCV.
- Benchmark algorithms, analyze performance, and document technical work.
- Validate systems with systems-engineering teams and support field experiments and validation campaigns.
Requisitos
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or another exact-sciences discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in computer vision, optical navigation, localization, and motion estimation.
- Experience with visual odometry, optical flow, ego-motion estimation, and deep-learning-based image registration.
- Strong background in statistics and probability.
