Responsabilidades
- Lead applied AI research initiatives from opportunity identification through validation and implementation.
- Define research directions and contribute to the research roadmap.
- Build, train, fine-tune, and adapt large and small language models using proprietary data and modern techniques.
- Develop approaches for understanding and reasoning over financial documents, business data, and legal or compliance information.
- Create datasets, evaluation frameworks, and experiments to measure performance, reliability, and tradeoffs.
- Translate research results into scalable, production-ready product capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging methods and establish standards for experimentation, model development, and responsible data use.
Requisitos
- At least 6 years of experience in AI/ML research or applied science.
- Strong background in deep learning and recent hands-on experience with language models.
- Experience building, training, or adapting models, including data preparation, experimentation, and evaluation.
- Strong Python skills and proficiency with modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Understanding of model architectures, optimization, training methodologies, and evaluation.
- Ability to frame ambiguous problems, design rigorous experiments, analyze results, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, and collaborate with engineering, product, and domain experts.
Se valora
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or an equivalent research record.
- Experience with post-training, reinforcement learning, synthetic data, knowledge distillation, or efficient model training and inference.
- Experience in document understanding, information extraction, or reasoning over structured and unstructured data.
- Background in financial, legal, or compliance domains.
- Research publications, open-source contributions, or experience bringing research into production.
