Senior AI Engineer, VLSI CAD Automation

Develop and integrate AI and machine learning solutions for VLSI design, verification, implementation, and CAD automation workflows.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and integrate AI-enabled CAD solutions and automation flows for VLSI design, verification, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with design, verification, and CAD teams to identify and improve VLSI workflows.
  • Research, prototype, and deploy AI-based algorithms.
  • Build and maintain automation infrastructure supporting AI adoption in the VLSI design process.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and methodologies for CAD applications.
  • Provide technical support and training on AI-enabled CAD workflows and best practices.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of VLSI CAD tool development experience, including AI/ML integration into EDA workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python and an AI/ML framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Hands-on experience with VLSI physical design and industry-standard EDA tools such as Synopsys or Cadence.
  • Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment for VLSI applications.
  • Experience maintaining automation scripts using Python, Perl, Tcl, or Make.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Se valora

  • Production deployment of AI/ML models in VLSI CAD environments.
  • Open-source AI/EDA contributions or relevant publications.
  • Expertise in timing closure, power optimization, or yield enhancement.
  • Experience with cloud or distributed computing for large-scale AI training and inference.
