Responsabilidades
- Design product telemetry with product managers and R&D, including event specifications, schemas, properties, validation, and warehouse ingestion paths.
- Develop and maintain dbt transformation models across staging, intermediate, and gold layers.
- Create tested, documented, consistent, and reusable product data models.
- Design certified self-service data access with analysts so stakeholders can answer recurring questions without custom data pulls.
- Standardize entities, data grain, and model structures across product areas with product analysts.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools for specifications, SQL, dbt models, reviews, and documentation.
Requisitos
- At least 4 years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or a related warehouse role.
- Production experience with dbt, including models, tests, documentation, and version control.
- Strong SQL and warehouse data-modeling skills, including layered models, entities, and data grain.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift or a comparable cloud warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Experience designing product telemetry with product managers or engineers, including event schemas, properties, and validation.
- Experience with event-tracking platforms or tracking-plan tools such as Snowplow, Segment, or Amplitude.
- Daily, fluent use of Cursor, Claude, or equivalent agentic coding environments for writing, reviewing, and shipping data work.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and code review.
- Clear English communication and ability to partner closely with product analysts, product managers, and engineers.
