A defense-sector technology organization in Ashdod is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage complex, data-intensive hybrid environments across SQL and NoSQL platforms. The role is full-time and mid-senior level.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement advanced SQL and NoSQL database architectures in complex hybrid environments
- Install, configure, upgrade, and manage the full lifecycle of PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server instances and clusters
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and system resources
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, including replication, failover, backup, and recovery
- Perform database maintenance, including partitioning, cleanup, and reorganization
- Write Bash and Python scripts to automate monitoring, backup, and maintenance tasks
- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and architecture
Requisitos
- At least 5 years of experience as a DBA in large, complex environments
- Expertise in one or more of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
- Required knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with virtualized environments
