A publicly traded technology company is hiring an Application DBA / Financial Data Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain financial reporting systems and data engines supporting a global cloud commerce platform. The role is based in Central Israel and follows a hybrid schedule with two workdays
Responsabilidades
- Own the development, optimization, and maintenance of financial reporting systems and data engines.
- Develop and manage SQL-based data pipelines for accurate, high-integrity financial and operational processing.
- Lead data migration and modernization from SQL Server to Snowflake.
- Translate business requirements, financial metrics, and operational workflows into documented data models and code.
- Perform data analysis, query optimization, performance tuning, and anomaly resolution in production environments.
- Automate internal data workflows using PowerShell and SQL scripts.
Requisitos
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Application DBA or Database Developer with SQL Server.
- Advanced T-SQL skills, including performance tuning, indexing, and stored procedures.
- Ability to translate complex business workflows into efficient database code.
- Hands-on experience automating processes with PowerShell and SQL.
- Strong standards for system design, documentation, data integrity, and automated testing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
Se valora
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data platforms.
- Background in FinTech, financial reporting, eCommerce, or high-volume transactional systems.
