A growing residential operations technology company is seeking a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to own its data domain end to end. The role combines data infrastructure, analytics engineering, business intelligence, product analytics, and strategic decision support.
Responsabilidades
- Own the data domain from infrastructure and pipelines through dashboards, insights, and business impact.
- Build and maintain scalable pipelines across product, finance, go-to-market, customer, and operational data sources.
- Design reliable data models and establish trusted definitions for key company metrics.
- Create business and executive dashboards for leadership decision-making.
- Analyze product usage, engagement, adoption, retention, feature performance, and customer value.
- Provide actionable insights to product, engineering, commercial, finance, customer success, and leadership teams.
- Translate business and product questions into analysis and recommendations.
- Define data standards, documentation, quality checks, metric definitions, and best practices.
- Use AI tools to accelerate data development, analysis, documentation, automation, and insight generation.
- Identify opportunities for smarter product experiences, customer-facing analytics, automated insights, and AI-supported decisions.
Requisitos
- At least 6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, product analytics, or a related data role.
- Strong hands-on development experience, including current or previous work as a developer or software engineer.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building data models, pipelines, and reporting layers.
- Experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
- Ability to independently design, build, and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Strong product and business judgment, with the ability to connect data work to company needs.
- Experience building dashboards, reporting layers, and business or product insights.
- Hands-on use of AI tools in technical work, analysis, development, or data workflows.
- Ability to collaborate directly with Product, R&D, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and leadership.
- Strong ownership, independence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with product analytics, event data, funnels, cohorts, retention, and engagement metrics.
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode, or similar BI tools.

- Experience with LLM tools, AI agents, automated insights, recommendation systems, or AI-powered analytics workflows.
