Secure firmware and custom processors that support large-scale cloud workloads. Work with hardware and firmware teams on low-level security architecture, research, and testing.
Responsabilidades
- Threat-model silicon and firmware architectures
- Conduct low-level penetration testing of privileged and externally reachable interfaces
- Review designs and code across firmware components
- Develop fuzzing and analysis tools for repeatable security testing
- Research vulnerabilities in firmware, processors, and hardware security boundaries
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineering teams to improve security
Requisitos
- At least 4 years of low-level systems security research and vulnerability testing experience
- Experience developing fuzzers, scanners, or security analysis frameworks
- Experience with security architecture design and threat modeling
- Proficiency in C and experience with Python
- Strong knowledge of security aspects of ARM and x86 processor architectures
- Understanding of secure boot, cryptographic implementations, side-channel attacks, security protocols, and cryptographic primitives
- Experience using AI for security research
- Technical proficiency in English
Se valora
- Firmware reverse engineering and vulnerability research experience
- Experience with AFL++, libFuzzer, Syzkaller, or comparable fuzzing frameworks
- Knowledge of virtualization security or hypervisor technologies
- Familiarity with cloud services
- Technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration
- Security publications, CVEs, CTFs, bug bounties, or competitive security research experience
