Join a financial infrastructure company in Jerusalem and help engineering teams build secure software through application security expertise, practical guidance, and developer enablement. The role follows a hybrid model with three office days per week.
Responsabilidades
- Mentor, coach, and educate developers on secure coding through workshops, training, pair reviews, and ongoing guidance
- Lead and scale a Security Champions program across engineering teams
- Facilitate threat modeling and design reviews early in the development process
- Guide secure architecture patterns, API security practices, and secure design principles
- Integrate and tune SAST, SCA, infrastructure-as-code, and secret-scanning controls in CI/CD pipelines
- Convert vulnerabilities into clear, actionable remediation guidance
- Create internal security content, playbooks, and reusable secure engineering patterns
- Partner with compliance teams on SDLC documentation and evidence for regulatory and security requirements
- Monitor emerging threats, developer tooling, and secure engineering practices
Requisitos
- Native-level written and spoken English and Hebrew
- At least 7 years of experience in software security engineering, including 4–5 years in application security and secure development enablement
- Strong coding ability in one or more of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or C#
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or enabling developers through training, code reviews, threat modeling, internal talks, or security champion programs
- Deep knowledge of secure coding, common vulnerability classes, API security, and secure design
- Hands-on experience with SAST, SCA, infrastructure-as-code scanners, and secret-scanning tools
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and security in AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC, NIST, OWASP, or ASVS
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
