Develop and refine mathematical models for browser-based slot games. The role is remote, with relocation assistance to Cyprus available. Candidates may bring slot-development experience or a strong quantitative background and an interest in building expertise in game mathematics.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and iterate mathematical models for slot games and mechanics
- Translate game-design concepts into robust, adjustable mathematical systems
- Configure and balance RTP, volatility, hit frequency, win distributions, and other player-experience parameters
- Develop and balance base games, bonus features, and other mechanics
- Create alternative game models and RTP configurations for product experiments and A/B tests
- Run simulations and validate results using analytical and statistical methods
- Check implemented games against mathematical models and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare mathematical documentation and data for development and frontend integration
- Collaborate with game design, development, and QA throughout the development lifecycle
- Share findings and approaches in internal mathematics reviews
- Analyze released games, product data, feedback, and competitor mechanics to inform future models
Requisitos
- Strong foundation in probability, expected value, combinatorics, statistics, distributions, random processes, and mathematical modeling
- Systems thinking and ability to understand how model parameters interact and affect outcomes
- Comfort using a programming language such as Python, C#, or C++ for modeling and simulations
- Comfort working with Excel or Google Sheets and independently validating calculations
- For candidates without iGaming experience: strong quantitative or physics background, programming or modeling experience, and motivation to develop in game mathematics
Se valora
- Commercial iGaming or slot-development experience
- Experience with slot mechanics such as Ways, Cluster, Hold & Win, Megaways, or Cascade
- Knowledge of GLI, BMM, iTech, or regulated markets such as UKGC, MGA, or Ontario
- A degree or academic background in mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, computational mathematics, or a related quantitative field
